Prepare Tasty Healthy Snacks With A Few Ingredients
There are times when I vowed to myself while preparing my list to go to the grocery store and produce market that I was going to buy a variety of fruits and veggies in preparation for my week. I continued doing this week after week and I actually had pretty good planning schedule for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, I knew that that one of the reasons that I consumed more food than I intended was because I snacked in between those meals, the problem was that I wasn’t planning Tasty Healthy Snacks that I knew I would enjoy!
Satisfy Nutrition and Taste
Snacking is often more fun and self-gratifying than our main meals. When I generally eat things such as, a handful of nuts for a healthy snack it doesn’t really feel like a treat. Since I enjoy snacking sometimes in the morning before lunch and definitely after dinner or on the weekends during a MOVIE NIGHT alone or with family, I decided to get more creative with my snacks. It’s important for me to EAT NUTRITIOUS and HEALTHY, but I also want to LOOK FORWARD TO MY SNACKS once in a while!
I found many of these ideas on Pinterest, and I decided I would do a blog post of my favorites. I chose these because they are Easy and YOU DON’T NEED MANY INGREDIENTS.
This is an on-the-go healthy tasty snack. Mash bananas in a bowl with honey, coconut oil, and peanut butter. Next, add a cup of oats, some cinnamon, maple syrup or agave nectar. Then, mix it up and roll into balls. Place it on a cookie sheet and bake on 300 or 350 degrees. Let them cool and enjoy! THIS IS LIKE A COOKIE without using any flour. You can add raisins, nuts, or other fruit.
2 bananas, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp coconut oil, 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 cup oats, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 2 tbsp agave nectar or maple syrup.
Peanut Butter Banana Sandwiches
Slice 2 bananas in quarters spread peanut butter in between each quarter and stack them. Melt dark chocolate and dip the tip of banana in chocolate and freeze. This treat is Super Easy, Fun, and Yummy!
Popcorn Nutty Mix
Place popcorn in a bowl, crush almonds or peanuts, melt and drizzle chocolate on top, then mix it all together and refrigerate for 30 minutes to harden the chocolate. This can be sliced or pulled apart an eaten. This snack is vegan when dark chocolate is used, which contains no milk.

Protein Energy Balls
Melt the peanut butter and honey together. When they have melted, remove them from the heat and add vanilla. Then add the remaining ingredients and mix until thoroughly. Scoop out a large teaspoon and roll into a ball. If the oats get stuck on your hands, wash them in oil and began rolling again. You can also press into a pan and cut into bars.

This healthy tasty snack can be prepared and refrigerated to be used for a few days.
Ground 3 cups of edamame, 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil, and warm water in a food processor; set aside. Then add ½ cup red onion, 1 cup roasted red bell peppers, 1 cup yellow roasted bell pepper, 1 tbsp lime juice, ½ cup minced jalapeño, 1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil, 2 tbsp cilantro, 2 tbsp parsley, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper.
